David Naturalist. Writer. Broadcaster. Photographer.
David is a naturalist, writer, broadcaster, speaker, photographer, wildlife tour leader and educationist.
Some of you may also know David as The Urban Birder. Encouraging people in towns and cities to get connected to nature through his TV appearances, talks and articles.
David had been interested in Natural History and in particular birds before he could walk. In his book ‘The Urban Birder’ his mum recalls him going missing, aged 3, during a family gathering. A search party was dispatched and Mrs Lindo eventually found her son standing outside a churchyard, watching Magpies.
David now travels the world telling people about the amazing urban wildlife that’s on their doorsteps.
